In the Czech Republic, recreational cannabis use is legal. Personal possession has been decriminalized since January 1, 2010, and medical cannabis is authorized since April 1, 2013.
Adults over the age of 21 can legally cultivate up to three cannabis plants and possess up to 100 g of dried cannabis at home (and up to 25 g in public) beginning January 1, 2026. Commercial sales remain illegal.
