As of June 2025,  carrying, displaying, or using marijuana in public is prohibited in the Canary Islands. You won’t get a pat down for a gram or two if you are shy about it.

Cannabis social clubs, where members can lawfully buy and use cannabis products, have grown in popularity as a result.
